Dave: As I read what you had writen I remembered when you were hurt playing basketball and they told me you were no breathing I lost my self and I then you came back.I understand how you are feeling and you are a very strong and great Man and you would do any thing for any one don't ever say you don't have feeling as I am your mother I know you do and We are so proud of you. As we are of those there who are being hurt every day .Hold your self stong and you will make it. We will pray here. Dave I could take care of everything there. My husband is deployed with you and says that the kids are what tears at his heart too. It is too easy to see your own children in them.

What a beautiful piece. I'd like to republish it in our4 daily online newspaper, The American Reporter. I hope it will give our readers a different perspective on the war.

Best,

Thank you for sharing this personal perspective. I received the link from my father who is a Vietnam Vet. We live in Hawaii and want you to know we are praying for all of you and so proud of your strength of character, courage, and commitment. God bless you and know we are passing the link around so others can be touched by your blog.
